Industry Fact File 23 Years Experience Expertise: Front Office Management Revenue Management Marketing & Promotion Booking Engine Development Marijke joined the HART team in 2019 as Organisations & Operations Manager but previously worked with HART at our partner property Stoke by Nayland as Commercial Manager Organisation & Operations Manager As quoted by the rest of the team, “Marijke makes sure we get things done”. Marijke can be found designing and optimising the web engines, leading the charge torward continuous improvement and organising the rest of the team. The latter is probably aided by her famous chocolate brownies, crowned by Panos as ‘the best chocolate brownies in the world’. Marijke’s favourite thing about working at HART is having the freedom to pursue new projects to optimise the way our partners interact with HART and in turn optimise their businesses. Experience Marijke embarked on her career in the hospitality industry in 2000, commencing her journey at the Radisson Hotel in Amsterdam, where she initially worked in the front office. 2005 she transitioned to London and continued her career with the Radisson Edwardian Group. Over the next few years, she worked at various hotels in the capital, steadily progressing to the role of Front Office Manager. After a brief departure from the hospitality sector, during which she played a pivotal role in the opening team of the renowned Westfield London shopping center, Marijke returned to her roots in Suffolk where she assumed the position of Commercial Manager at Stoke by Nayland Resort. With a wealth of experience spanning front office management, rate and revenue strategies, marketing, sales planning, and training, Marijke is well-equipped to provide valuable contributions to our partner properties in moving their business forward in partnership with HART.
