Thyme’s Story

Thyme is a family story where a passion for the land, food and entertaining merges with a love of nature, beauty and conservation.

The hotel features 31 botanically inspired rooms and suites, each one decorated with a blend of traditional and contemporary elements.

The beauty of the Thyme rooms is truly in the details and meticulous design features.

Guests can also enjoy a range of amenities, including a spa, fitness centre, and several dining options, including a restaurant, bar, and private dining room. Thyme also offers a range of activities for guests to enjoy, such as cooking classes, gardening workshops, and outdoor pursuits like hiking and cycling.

The hotel also has its own farm, where guests can learn about organic farming and even help with the harvesting.

Dining at Thyme is a real plunge into rural farming life, with their menus taking guests through the story of the farm and the season they weather. Chef Charlie Hibbert works with the gardeners to grow specific fruits, vegetables and herbs local to Thyme, this in turn inspires his modern British countryside menu. This takes place in the restored Ox Barn, however guests can also relax and enjoy a drink in the Baa Bar.

For guests wanting to take their relaxation to the next level, the Meadow Spa offers botanical treatments. All treatments also include a lunch in the Orchid House and use of the outdoor pool.
