The hall was built in the early 18th century and has been owned and operated as a hotel since the 1990s. During World War II, the house was used as a convalescent home for soldiers, and after the war, it was converted into a hotel. Today, Ansty Hall is a popular wedding and events venue, as well as a hotel and restaurant. The hall is set in eight acres of parkland and features elegant interiors with period features such as high ceilings, sash windows, and ornate plasterwork. It has 62 bedrooms, including suites and family rooms, all of which have been individually decorated and furnished. The hotel also has several function rooms, including a grand ballroom, which can accommodate up to 140 guests. The hotel’s restaurant, the Shilton Restaurant, serves modern British cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.
