Two HART Partner Chefs Star in Masterchef: The Professionals

Masterchef: The Professionals Winner & Guest Judge

Tom Hamblet (above) won it all at Masterchef: The Professionals but his career started and continues at one of our partners – South Lodge. South Lodge is part of the Exclusive Collection which has been working with HART since 2017.

Speaking to Restaurants Brighton, Tom reminisced over his career so far stating: “I was at South Lodge as an apprentice for 2 years, then started a commis job in The Pass. I was then promoted to demi then moved to the Latymer for another year and 4 months, then went to Restaurant Interlude for 1 year and 8 months then moved back to South Lodge as sous chef!”

Apart from Tom’s spectacular journey another head chef lent his expertise to the show, Beach House head chef Hywel Griffith (below) appeared on the first of three final episodes which eventually crowned Tom the winner. Beach House is part of the Welsh collective ‘Seren’ which have been working with HART since 2019.
